Camp Lukban, Catbalogan City – The Army Recruitment Office for Eastern Visayas (ARO-Visayas) will conduct information drive and administer examination to applicants for the Philippine Army Officer Candidate Course (OCC) and Officer Preparatory Course (OPC). The ARO-Visayas team will be visiting different schools and universities in Samar, Leyte Island and Bohol and Army units in Samar and Northern Samar on April 17-25, 2012.
These are the dates and venues of the examination:
April 17 - 803 Brigade, Camp Somoroy, Catarman Northern Samar
April 19 - 8ID, Cp Lukban Catbalogan City
April 21 - Leyte Colleges, Tacloban City
April 23 - Saint Joseph College, Maasin City
April 25 - 702 CDC, Tagbiliran City, Bohol
Qualifications for OCC are the following:
a. 21 to 24 years old
b. Baccalaureate degree holder
c. Single
d. Filipino
e. Physically and mentally fit
Qualifications for OPC are the following:
a. 21 to 31 years old
b. Baccalaureate degree holder
c. Single
d. Filipino
e. Physically and mentally fit
f. Must be a graduate of POTC with a reserve rank of 2LT
The examination is open to members of the AFP and civilians. Interested applicants should bring the following requirements at the venue of the examination:
a. NSO Live Birth certificate
b. Transcript of records or college diploma
c. Pencil Nr. 2
d. One (1) Valid ID
